A Free In-Person Conference for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Hearing Interpreters

Mark your calendars! The Commission returns to hosting an in-person conference for sign language interpreters. The conference will be held in Springfield, the capital of Illinois, on April 24-26, 2026. The conference's theme, ALL FLAVORS of Interpreting, is open to all deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing interpreters.

The conference is FREE to all participants while space is available! It will feature a diverse lineup of deaf and hearing presenters.

This conference will feature four tracks: Deaf Interpreter Training, Medical Interpreter Training, Specialized Interpreting Training, and STEM Interpreter Training. Continuing education credits will be offered.
