As part of the five-year strategic plan and prioriities, the Illinois Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission conducts data-informed collection and information collection activities to guide decisions and improve success.

The Commission identifies reliable sources of data and engage in collaborative activities to find publicly available and reliable data relevant to Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind persons and Sign Language Interpreters.
